Ciplactin Tablets = Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride (anhydrous) IP 4mg

Ciplactin is designated in treatment of sharp and chronic allergies such
as dermatitis, eczema, moderate and local allergic reactions to stings of an insect, hay fever, seasonal rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis because of allergens for inhalations and foodstuff, urticaria, angioneurotic a hypostasis, a drug and reactions of whey, anogenital pruritus and pruritus chicken poxes.
Ciplactin it can be used also in treatment and preventive maintenance of a migraine and a vascular headache.
In an allergy and pruritus
Adults
12-16 mg day in the divided dosages. The dosage should not exceed 32 mg
daily.
Children (7-14 years)
Usually 4 mg three times daily. The dosage should not exceed 16 mg daily.
Children (2-6 years)
2 mg three times daily. The full dosage should not exceed 12 mg daily.
In a migraine and vascular headaches
prophylactically or therapeutically a recommended dosage - 4 mg
originally repeated after half of hour if it is necessary to not exceed 8 mg in 4-6
the period of hour. The simplification usually turns out in sympathetic patients about two dosages (full 8 mg) and served about 4 mg each 4-6 hours.
| Warnings and Precautions. |
Glaucoma of angular closing, stenosing a peptic ulcer or pyloroduodenal
barrier, symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy or barrier of a neck of a bubble,
parallel monoamine oxidase inhibitor therapy, sharp asthmatic attacks
and hypersensitivity to cyproheptadine.
