Citadep.
Citadep-10 = Citalopram HBr 10mg
Citadep-20 = Citalopram HBr 20mg
Citadep-40 = Citalopram HBr 40mg
Citadep is used for treatment of depression.
Initial Treatment: Citadep should cope in an initial dosage 20 mg once daily, in general with increase to a dosage of 40 mg / days. A dosage increments should not be made with intervals in any less than one week. Though some patients can demand a dosage of 60 mg / days, studying has not made show advantage for 60-mg/day a dosage; on 40-mg/day dosage; hence dosages more than 40 mg usually are not recommended.
Citadep should cope once daily in the morning or in the evening with or without the foodstuffs.
Special Settlements: 20 mg / days - a recommended dosage for the most elderly patients and patients with deterioration hepatic with titration by 40 mg / days only that non-responding to patients.
Any regulation of a dosage is not necessary for patients with moderate or moderate kidney deterioration. Citadep it should be used with caution in patients with serious kidney deterioration.
