| Inhaler/Rotacaps/Respules Structure. |
Duolin Inhaler = Salbutamol 100mg and Ipratropium Bromide 20mg
Duolin Rotacaps = Salbutamol Sulphate IP 200mg and Ipratropium Bromide 40mg
Duolin Respules 2.5 ml = Salbutamol Sulphate 2.5mg and Ipratropium Bromide 500mcg in Normal Saline solution IP q.s.
Duolin Inhalers, Rotacaps and Respules are designated in patients with
chronic interfering pulmonary illness (COPD) on correct an aerosol
bronchodilator who continues to have evidence of a bronchospasm and who
demand the second bronchodilator.
The dosage should be adapted to individual requirements of the patient.
Adults (including elderly and teenagers more than 12 years of age)
2 inhalings four times day. Patients can take additional inhalings as it is required;
however, the total of inhalings should not exceed 12 inhalings in 24 hours
or 1-2 Rotacaps four times day or 1 unit (Respule) were sprayed three or four
times daily.
Children - not recommended
| Warnings and Precautions. |
Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation or to atropine and
derivatives.
For this purpose also serve as contra-indication in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to
lecithin of a soya or the connected food products of type of a soya and peanut.
