Hipres is designated in treatment of a hypertension, a stenocardia and
postheart attack of a myocardium.
HYPERTENSION
Initial dosage - 50 mg daily either one or added to diuretic therapy. If
the optimum answer do not achieve, the dosage should be increased to
100 mg daily. The increase in a dosage outside of 100 mg day is improbable to
make any further benefit.
STENOCARDIA
As to a hypertension. Some patients can demand a dosage of 200 mg once
day for optimum effect.
POSTHEART ATTACK OF THE MYOCARDIUM
100 mg daily in the unique or divided dosages.
| Warnings and Precautions. |
Bradycardia of the bosom, second or third degree AV the block, cardiogenic shock,
frank intimate refusal and hypersensitivity to atenolol.
